2004 Venus transit.

This was my first astrophoto. I spent a sleepless night to get my telescope and solar filter functional by sunrise. I used a solar filter made of BAADER AstroSolar film.

It took about nineteen minutes for the planet's disk to cross the solar limb and vanish from sight. The green smear is a reflex in the eyepiece lens.
