Jupiter after occultation by the Moon, 2005:07:13 17:38 UTC.
I knew it was possible to see the brightest planets during the daylight hours through the telescope but I was never able to do that. It's very hard to point a simple telescope as mine when you can't see the target with your naked eye.
Here I took advantage of the lunar occultation to spot Jupiter near the Moon. The strong vignetting effect is due to limited field of view of my setup.
